About the Item

Oil on canvas depicting Baulien, a seaside community in Nice France on the Riviera. The painting with rustic structures and barren trees in the foreground, a pier jutting out onto the pale blue waters. white structures in the background nestled into the rolling hills. Presented in a carved gilt frame with shell motifs, linen fillet. Signed lower right. Dimensions: Sight: 21 1/2" x 17 1/2" Frame: 28 1/2" x 25" x 2" D Canvas: 18" x 22" Condition: Please see detail photos. There are a few acceptable signs of age including craklure, especially to center and lower right, but widespread. Two chips to frame to lower left. The aforementioned is for accuracy as the presentation is fine.
