About the Item
This painting of playful fish was created in the 19th century in Italy. It has the original frame, made with oil paint, and no alterations or restorations. You can see there are vibrant orange fish swimming in a mossy green lake, the contrast makes the fish pop out of the frame in a whimsical manner. The movement and flow of the golden fish show a friendship between the three, where they get to play all day long with each other in the darkest and lightest parts of the lake. When I look at this painting I can only imagine that the three are about to embark on a life changing adventure; where they will learn and grow. The painting represents friendship and the act of having fun; a gentle reminder that it is important to play and explore sometimes, no matter who you are.
This would compliment a room filled with plants and/or a natural color pallet.
