About the Item
Exceptional antique (late 19th to early 20th century) paintings on canvas laid on wooden panels after the door panels by Pierre Rousseau installed in 1786 in Marie Antoinette's boudoir at Chateau Fountainebleau. Each in their original giltwood frame measuring 28 1/8 by 44 by 1 1/4 inches. One signed C. Guilbert.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Each in good condition. Frames with scuffs, rubbing wear and a few dents. Paintings with a few stains, scuffs, minimal overall craquelure. One with paint losses running horizontally along the lower edge.
