Pair Of Oil Paintings Of Concert Of Birds
About the Item
This is a Pair of Oil Paintings of Concert of Birds. They depict different birds perched in a branch of a tree. It appears that there is a music paper attached to the tree in one of the painting and two of the birds ( the Cockatoo and the Macau ) are looking at each other. In the other painting, a yellow Canary perched in a tree trunk is holding the music sheet in its beak while an angry Macau in another tree’s branch appears to be talking to a pair of quails that are in the soil. Other birds in different branches of the same tree appear not disturbed. Both paintings are mounted in a gilt wood frame adorned with scrolls of acanthus leaves. Both paintings are signed in the left lower area of them. At the back of the wood frames it is stamped “Made in Spain”.
