About the Item
Oil on canvas by Greg Parker. 40" x 60". Unframed. Painting portrays a herd of desert rams standing over the Grand Canyon. Some are well-lit, some in shadow. Across the canyon the light reflects beautifully off of the red cliff faces. A stunning example of Parker's ability to capture both wildlife and natural lighting. Done in an impressionist/realism style.
Greg Parker has mastered the ability to capture the very essence of what he sees and experiences in an exceptional artistic capacity. Greg's ability to bring to canvas the moments seen through the human eye in such exceptional craftsmanship is one to be recognized. Early in his youth, he found himself especially interested in nature and read all he could about naturalists like John Muir who captured young Greg's imagination. Being an outdoorsman himself, Greg's studio in the beautiful Northwest part of the United States provides a setting in which often overlooked beauty Greg successfully captures and shares on canvas.

Graham McKean
In 1996, after 17 years as a graphic designer, Graham McKean decided to commit himself totally to producing his oil paintings. Graham is presently registered as a self-employed artist, painting full-time from a W.A.S.P. studio at the harbour side in Irvine, Ayrshire.
Graham McKean’s paintings have featured in numerous exhibitions and are increasingly appearing at the U.K.’s leading auction houses.
