Oil on canvas bearing Gabriel FERRIER's stamp on the back, with an annotation on the stretcher "sketch Louvre,1st March 1866" Gabriel FERRIER( 1847-1914)
student of Pils and Hebert at the Beaux arts, he exhibited at the Salon from 1869. 1st Prix de Rome in 1872, he stayed there between 1873 and 1876.
Gold medal at the E.U. in 1889.
