Saint Paul healing the sick with his shadow in the city of Ephesus . Oil on canvas bearing Gabriel FERRIER's stamp on the back, with an annotation on the stretcher "sketch Louvre,1st March 1866" Gabriel FERRIER( 1847-1914) student of Pils and Hebert at the Beaux arts, he exhibited at the Salon from 1869. 1st Prix de Rome in 1872, he stayed there between 1873 and 1876.
