About the Item
These are TWO silhouette coloured portrait pictures of Military Gentlemen, in wood frames, dating to the 20th Century .
Each picture is set within an oval mount within wood frames, being painted gold to the frame fronts / inner fronts and black to the sides. There is a clear glass insert on top of each picture, fixed in position by the frame. Hanging wires are attached to eyes on the back of each picture.
Each picture or print is different. The scene shows a military gentleman in full military regalia, all in a silhouette profile, mounted within an oval beige mount. The pictures are in colour but we are not sure where they originate from. These are not hand painted in our opinion.
We cannot find any makers marks, stamps or signatures on these pictures.
We have personally owned these pictures for well over 20 years and they are very decorative.
