A superb water colour painting by John Abernethy Lynas Gray (1869-1937) ''Betwixt The Light'' Venice with boats on the canal Venice.
Signed lower left and dated 1922.
Lovely and un faded colour in Gilt Frame.
Picture size 45cm x 30cm
Frame size 61cm x 45cm
About the Artist
Painter who lived at Oxton on the Wirral and later in Caernarvonshire. He painted mainly landscapes and genre pictures and is believed to have studied at Liverpool School of Art and later in London. He exhibited at RBSA, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, Manchester, RHA, RI and RCamA.
