A vibrant oil painting of Wall Street NYC showing St. Marks church in the background. The cityscape is decorated for the Fourth of July, depicting the early part of the 20th century, circa 1905. The artist captured the time period from actual photos that time and masterfully created a illustration not far from what would have been. The painting is full of proudly displayed American flags.
Malcolm Schacter is a self taught painter and sculptor and has exhibited in the Bucks County and Lambertville New Jersey area. Malcolm is an educated and skilled architect by trade with painting being his passion and his life long skill as an architect contributes to his talent as an artist.
