Original antique film poster for a movie - Der Geheimnisvolle Club / The Mysterious Club - based on the 1896 book "The Suicide Club" written by Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), directed by Joseph Delmont and starring Fred Sauer as Gerhard Bern with Ilse Bois and Joseph Delmont, about a man who travels to Rotterdam with a detective to search for the truth behind his brother's apparent suicide connected with a secret society. Great artwork featuring a man in a black suit holding an ace of spades playing card in front of a shadow in red with a skull faced figure of Death handing him a gun and hiding the rest of the deck of cards behind him, the title text above and credit text below. Issued by Eiko Film. Printed by Dinse, Eckert & Co. Berlin. Large size. Fair condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, restored folds, backed on linen.
