Edmund Walton Blodgett (1908-1963) was an American scene watercolor painter, illustrator, and teacher, known for his regionalist paintings, especially of New England landscapes and scenes. He moved to Stowe, Vermont, in the late 1930s and became known for his Vermont-themed works.
He studied at the Grand Central Art School and with notable artists like George Luks and George Pearse Ennis. He was also an active member and exhibitor of the American Watercolor Society. His works are part of various collections, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum. And his paintings have been offered at auctions.
