About the Item

An original numbered lithograph on paper, titled ‘944 President Street’ by Shunji Sakuyama. Shows the facade of a Brooklyn house in fine detail. Numbered 19/25 in the lower left, titled in the middle and signed and dated ‘81 in the lower right corner. Finished in a wooden frame. Sakuyama (b. 1940 Harbin, China) is a Japanese painter and printmaker raised in Osaka who has worked in Brooklyn since the 1960’s. Internationally exhibited, his work is included in numerous museum collections, including The Brooklyn Museum and The Museum of the City of New York, as well as private and corporate collections such as MCI International, IBM, Merrill Lynch Relocation and others.
