Antique Framed Chromolithograph "Carter the Great", Otis Lithograph Co. Ca. 1920
About the Item
This magic poster is a representation of the golden era of chromolithograph prints. There is a reason why the detail and color are so special, the process was different, and is virtually lost today. This is a 5 color stone lithograph, and that is about the best process used to make these special posters. Carter, who was a contemporary of Houdini is playing cards with the devil, hard to beat that for subject matter. We hunted out a period oak frame and made a wonderful addition to any wall, especially you poker players, amateur magicians, and people who love the devil.
This is an original chromolithograph ca. 1920's, and not a reprint.
