California Wine Country Original Lithograph "Spring"
About the Item
"Spring" is a charming California wine country scene of vineyard, house, lambs and basket of fruit and greens by Carol Packer. She is a well known California artist who died in 2006.
This lithograph, "Spring" is Intaglio work, which means the image is incised on the plate. This piece is a multiple-plate aquatint etching. The multiple plates are inked individually and printed consecutively while the ink is still wet onto a damp sheet of Printmaking paper. The colors blend as the Print is printed.
Limited edition: 25/100
The print is museum mounted and in a custom hand carved, stained and gilded frame by Fred Reed, Atlanta.
