Classic bold, linear geometric Art Deco designs in tropical pastel pink, beige and burnt orange hues of the Miami Color Palette which inspired the iconic 1980's series Miami Vice. The stylish Flying Clouds of the REO Motor Car Co., Lansing Michigan pictured in profile with descriptions of the models available and their prices. Rare find for classic car collectors, Art Deco design lovers and REO enthusiasts. The REO Flying Cloud was introduced in 1927, with styling by Fabio Segardi and Lockheed's hydrolic internal expanding brake system. The model quickly became one of the most memorable in the company's history in large part due to Ned Jordan's "Somewhere West Of Laramie" advertising ads featuring his Jordan Playboy. Though produces for a short period of time, only until 1936, the Flying Clouds had high impact on the automotive industry naming of cars through evocative association with the ideals of speed and style.
