Masami Teraoka Signed Limited Print New Views of Mt. Fuji, Sinking Pleasure Boat
By Masami Teraoka
Located in Studio City, CA
A very large and wonderfully detailed screen print by Asian/ Japanese American artist Masami Teraoka titled "New Views of Mt. Fuji: Sinking Pleasure Boat" is based on his original 1976-77 painting by the same name. The print is numbered in pencil at the lower edge (63/75), blind-stamped and dated (1977) at the upper right, sealed by Teraoka with his personal stamps/seals within the image, and likely hand-signed on verso (we have not removed the artwork from the frame but this is most likely the case). The work was printed on Rives BFK paper by Ron McPherson and Julie McPherson, and published by Space Gallery, Los Angeles, CA. Masami Teraoka has had over 70 solo exhibitions and he has twice been honored by the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York. He has also received two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. His works can be found in collections and museums around the world including: The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco; the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington D. C.; the Honolulu Museum of Art, Hawaii; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the National Portrait Gallery, Washington D. PGA Golf Tournament Autographed Lithograph, Certified Sports Memorabilia
Located in Miami, FL
Autographed PGA Golf Tournament 1991 - Crooked Stick Golf Course that was held in Carmel, Indiana. Titled "The Cinderella Story". This lithograph is autographed by both the Legendary Golf Champion John Daly and pencil signed by the artist Donald Voorhees, Artist. Certified. The 1991 PGA Championship was the 73rd PGA Championship, held August 8–11 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, a suburb north of Indianapolis. John Daly won the first of his two major titles, three strokes ahead of runner-up Bruce Lietzke. Daly, age 25, was quite arguably the most unforeseen major champion in modern history. He was the ninth alternate who only qualified after several others pulled out of the tournament. Nick Price withdrew for the birth of his first child and Daly hired his caddy, Jeff "Squeaky" Medlin. Daly's outgoing personality and "grip it and rip it" style of play made him an instant fan favorite. The PGA Championship was his first tour victory. This wonderfully collectible lithograph would make a great gift. Donald Voorhees has been recognized from coast to coast for his outstanding contribution to art and is the recipient of over 100 awards from such prestigious organizations as the Hudson Valley Art Association, the Salmagundi Club of New York City and the New Jersey Water Color Society. He has been cited for his work by the State of New Jersey. The artist's works have been shown in museums throughout the country, including the Frye Museum, Seattle, Washington; the Edward Dean Museum, Cherry Valley, California; the Central Museum of Wyoming; and the Martello Museum, Key West, Florida. He has exhibited with the American Watercolor Society, Allied Artists, Knickerbocker Artists, New Jersey Water Color Society, Hudson Valley Art Association, Salgamundi Club, National Academy of Design, and the National Art Club. His works are owned by many banks, corporations and public institutions througout the country including Sun Oil, Gannett Publications, Citibank, Hertz, Pfizer Drug and Bethlehem Steel. Prints from his Americana Series hang in schools, government offices and the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge. His painting "Beckoning Still" is in the collection of former President Reagan...

Porsche 944 and 356 Lithographic Print by David Lord
By David Lord
Located in Littleton, CO
Extraordinary lithographic print on paper of two Porsche automobiles, a 944 and a 356 by famed automotive and aviation artist David Lord. Signed and dated, 1985. Image dimensions: 16.75” x 20.75”. Chromed frame dimensions: 24.25” x 27.25”. About David Lord Inspiration for David Lord to draw and paint came from hours spent as a child at a drawing board set next to his talented grandmother’s easel. “She painted flowers and landscapes . . . I drew cars, boats, airplanes and army tanks.” In addition, a beloved, dedicated, high school teacher, who “instilled the love of art history, taught me art skills and techniques, and the ability to ‘know what to keep . . . and what to leave out’ of my art.” A New Englander by birth, David attended high school in Connecticut. Art was his favorite class and he kept his eighth grade dream of going to art school alive with hundreds of hours spent drawing cars and planes. After high school, he began two years of art studies at the University of Hartford in Connecticut and then began training at Art center College of Design in Los Angeles, California. After two semesters there, general Motors granted him a full scholarship. He graduated in 1965 as a Bachelor of professional Arts in Industrial Design. Upon graduation, Lord was hired by UniRoyal in South bend, Indiana, to design consumer products and eventually products for military application in Vietnam. “I also had the honor and privilege of working with Gordon Buehrig on the preliminary design, drawings, and clay for the 8/10 scale Cord, built of vacuum-formable, color impregnated plastic. After three years with a South Bend industrial design firm, Lord started his own company. During this period he spent many late evenings at the easel in his own studio, painting and drawing automobiles. The direction of his artwork, philosophy and goals began to form. “I decided to focus my love of all things automotive with my talent for painting and drawing. I had been to many events over the years; councours, car and air shows, had an extensive automotive reference collection and four major influences and mentors. These were men whose talent I was in awe over the years; Peter Helck, Walter Gotschke...
