Antique satire/caricature print titled 'De Roomsche Kerk beoordeeld door het woord van God'. Rare anti-Catholic caricature, made by a representative of the 'Aprilbeweging', i.e. the Protestant and conservative movement against the reestablishment of the episcopal hierarchy in the Netherlands in 1853.
Artists and Engravers: Published by C. Campagne, Tiel.
Condition: Good, trimmed margins. Some repaired marginal tears, please study image carefully.
