-Attractive tapestry unusually depicting a large Baroque country house or mansion with turrets in the background -The four exotic birds in the foreground are a charming feature, they could be domestic birds such as herons or cranes as their bodies although their bodies are heavier with larger feathers suggesting a large stork -Fine weaving the foliage and trees have wonderful detail and the full bodied feathers are also beautifully defined which gives the tapestry a three dimensional quality -Perfect size for a portiere, venetian window or narrow space Machine woven, depicting four large, exotic birds under a tree in front of a large country house with turrets and a terrace with steps leading down to the garden or parkland landscape. woven in shades of brown, grey, ochre, black and red.
