Antique Chinese Wooden Sign Board with Calligraphy from the 19th Century

This antique Chinese horizontal sign board made during the 19th century displays Chinese characters carved in wood in a splendid calligraphic style. The frame is enhanced by red and black original paint, and hangs by two fine characteristic Chinese metal buckles. This beautiful board from the 19th century is in great condition and would be an exceptional decorative piece in almost any home, whether above a sofa or a chest of drawers or even a bed.
