THIS IS A MUSEUM QUALITY PAIR OF ANTIQUE AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN RENAISSANCE REVIVAL PENDANT DANGLE DROP EARRINGS MADE BY THE AUSTRIAN JEWELER KARL TAUBOCK AND SET WITH STUNNING LARGE CENTRAL FACETED OVAL SAPPHIRES WITH ADDITIONAL SAPPHIRES AND PEARLS SET IN SILVER GILT DATING TO CIRCA 1870-1900.
These are a museum quality pair of Austro-Hungarian Sapphire and Pearl earrings of a fabulous 2 3/4 inches (72mm) length! The earrings are made by the esteemed Austrian jeweler Karl Taubock and bear his hallmark of a KT. The earrings are also hallmarked with 800 for 800 silver and with an eagle head mark. The earrings have five articulated sections which dangle beautifully from the ear.
The earrings feature a stunning large (8mm by 6mm) faceted oval Sapphire. This is collet set. The large sapphires are surrounded by halos of pearls and sapphires. The pendant sections are further set throughout with pearls and sapphires. The earrings are 800 silver gilt which was the standard for the Austro-Hungarian jewels from the 19th Century.

These are a very beautiful and immensely wearable pair of Austro-Hungarian earrings. The earrings are 2 3/4 inches (72 mm) long, and 3/4 inch (20 mm) wide.
The earrings are hallmarked 800, with an eagle head mark, and the KT mark of Karl Taubock on the screwbacks.
The earrings are Silver Gilt which is silver with a gold wash and is typical of the Austro-Hungarian jewels.
