About the Item
This is a spectacular pair of Antique Etruscan Revival Pendant Dangle Drop Earrings with 18 Karat Etruscan Gold beads, Lapis Lazuli Beads and Pearls. The earrings have extraordinary early Etruscan beaded scroll and granulation work on the gold beads. Adorning the surface of the beads is lovely swirled wirework, forming a stunning Etruscan design. Above and below the Etruscan beads are pearls and gorgeous beads of gold flecked Lapis Lazuli. The earrings hang beautifully on the ear.
Etruscan jewelry Etruscan Style refers to 19th century jewelry with design influences from Etrurian jewelry dating to the 7th to 3rd centuries BC. The jewelry is noted for granulation and applied filigree and is highly sought after.
The earrings are 2 1/8 inches (55mm) long.
The larger lapis beads are 10mm in diameter. The Etruscan beads are 8mm in diameter.
The Etruscan beads are 18 karat gold.
