Antique Russian Pendant / Locket in solid 14K Yellow Gold decorated with engraved floral ornament and natural Siberian Rubies and Demantoid Garnets .Removable bezels with original glass inserts inside. Russian 56 Gold Imperial period hallmarks 1908 -1917. Maker's not clear to read, city of S.Petersburg. Measures 45mm (with bail) x 27 mm x 8mm deep. Weight : 10 grams All stones of old European Diamond cut with open backs. Larger natural Ruby Ø 3mm / ca.0.2 ct, smaller Ø 2.5 mm / ca.0.15 ct. Total weight of Rubies ca. 0.35 ctw Natural Green Demantoid Garnets : two larger Ø 2.5 mm / ca. 0.1 ct each. The one under Ruby : Ø 2mm / ca. 0.05ct Additional Demantoids : two Ø 1.25 / ca. 0.015 ct each + two x Ø 1.5 / ca. 0.025 each + one Ø 1.75 / ca.0.03ct , five x Ø 2 / ca. 0.05ct each. Thus total weight ca. 0.6 ctw. Fine used condition. No punctures, very minor dents, scratches.
