About the Item
Brooch-pendant in 18 karat rose and yellow gold, mixed hallmark.
A superb antique brooch, featuring interlacing plant motifs and fleur-de-lisé motifs, all openwork and adorned with rose-cut diamonds. In the center of the design, 2 larger antique-cut diamonds are held in claws. On the back, a pin allows this antique jewelry to be worn as a brooch and 2 rings allow it to be worn as a pendant. The setting is numbered 54209.
Total weight of the 2 main diamonds : 0.24 carat approximately.
Height : 3,5 cm approximately, width : 4 cm approximately, thickness : 7 mm approximately.

Our opinion : This antique jewel represents a transition between 2 artistic currents : jewelry from the second half of the 19th century, Napoleon 3, and the Art Nouveau style that emerged around 1890. An antique piece in excellent condition that must have been made by an excellent workshop.

Brooch in 18 karat rose gold, eagle head hallmark, and silver.
Charming antique jewel with transformation, it represents a knot moved and decorated with rose- cut diamonds. A pin with a safety hook allows to wear this jewel as a brooch. This part is removable thanks to a small screw. A hook allows you to attach a tassel made of a lobster clasp adorned with a fleur-de-lis pattern set with rose-cut diamonds. This set is removable but can also allow to attach to the brooch another pendant to the lobster clasp or to slip a chain to wear the set as an antique pendant.
