French 19th Century Diamonds 18 Karat Gold Silver Brooch Pendant
About the Item
Brooch pendant in 18 karat rose gold, and silver, accompanied by a chain in 18 karat white gold, eagle head hallmark.
Antique brooch-pendant, it forms a basket of openwork flowers set with rose- cut diamonds. At the base, in pampille are 5 rose- cut diamonds, in pear. The hanging system is a pin with safety pump.
The main part is a jewel of the second half of the eighteenth century, mounted in brooch in the nineteenth century. The chain was brought back in the XIXth century as well, and consists of an oval mesh with a spring ring.
Dimensions of the pattern : Height : 4 cm, width : 5.6 cm, thickness : 9.5 mm.
Chain dimensions : Total length : 50 cm, thickness : 1 mm.
Total weight of the jewel : 23.2 g approximately.
