About the Item

Pendant in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark, and silver. This magnificent antique pendant features arabesque floral motifs, cornucopia and egrets, all set with old-cut and rose-cut diamonds. At the end of the pendant, a larger cushion-cut diamond is claw-set. At the back are 2 small rings for attaching a horse chain with double spring rings. Height : 6,1 cm approximately, width : 5,8 cm approximately, thickness : 9,2 mm approximately, chain width : 1.3 mm approximately, length : 52 cm approximately. Total weight of the jewel : 21,7 g approximately. Antique jewel - French work of the second half of the XIXth century. Our opinion : The main motif of this antique diamond pendant was probably part of a more complete piece of antique jewelry, as evidenced by the small screw thread on the back of the piece.
