About the Item
A fine antique silver and jewel encrusted box.
In solid silver silver.
The lid decorated with floral wirework and encrusted throughout with multiple gemstones - includings rubies, citrines, tourmaline, topaz and emeralds surrounded in a border of white sapphires.
The sides and base stippled and engraved with highly detailed floral engravings.
With a gold wash to the interior.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
Lacks a few gemstones to the top. There are some spots of gold loss to the interior. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
Marks:
Apparently unmarked.
Fineness:
Unmarked for silver fineness. (Likely Continental with a minimum .800 fineness).

3 round cut citrines: ranging from ca. 5 - 5.8 mm diameter
42 round cut white sapphires: ranging from ca. 2.9-3.6 mm diameter
