Antique Edwardian 18K Yellow Gold 1.91tgw Opal and Old Cut Diamond 7 Stone Ring
Located in Staines-Upon-Thames, GB
An antique opal, diamond, and yellow gold ring, comprising one round cabochon opal, two oval cabochon opals, and four old cut diamonds, in 18 karat yellow gold. My favourite thing about this Antique 18K Yellow Gold Opal and Diamond Ring, is the pastel play of colour in the opals. What’s yours? Perhaps the sparkling diamonds? Or the elegant gallery? This Edwardian ring is set to the centre with a large, round cabochon opal. The opal exhibits a pastel hued play of colour, with blues, greens, oranges and yellows. The central opal is flanked by 2 pairs of old cut diamonds. The diamonds are perfectly chunky, and are bright, white, sparkly and well-matched with one another. The ring is complete with a pair of oval opal cabochons, which are well-matched with the central opal. The stones are raised on an elegantly carved gallery, quite unusual in shape, reminding me somewhat of Poseidon’s trident...

We will service it for you as part of the purchase price before it is shipped out to you. This will delay shipping for a few days of course. LIFETIME SERVICE COMMITMENT This great looking and classic man's pocket watch is still fitted with a flawless and original Kiln Fired Dial. These dials were made of glass and fired in a furnace at 1500 degrees. The watch is all original as well, still with its original blued steel hands. The watch is very dependable even now, but it should be serviced (which we will do included in the price). The cuvette is finely engraved with a presentation to a Captain Keller. Wherever he is, his watch is still running and will continue to run for another 200 years with a service occasionally. HOWARD HISTORY One of the most respected names in American watch making, was the house founded by Edward Howard in Boston Massachusetts in 1858. Howard was an exceptional watchmaker who had worked originally for the Willard Clock Company. Willard was the premier American clock maker and advanced American horology. Howard’s exceptional designs and innovations helped establish America as a watchmaking capital along with the Waltham Watch Company. Howard’s creativity helped establish the principles of industrialization and standardized parts. Howards watches were rugged and very accurate as well. Their case designs were innovative as well. Howard watches were used by scientists and engineers in military and industry because they were rugged and dependable. In 1903, the Howard Watch Company was acquired by the Keystone Watch...

Antique 14kt Yellow Gold Essex Crystal Hunting Necklace, c. 1880–1910
Located in Braintree, GB
A beautifully composed late Victorian to Edwardian necklace in 14kt yellow gold, featuring intricately carved and reverse-painted Essex crystals — a rare and labour-intensive technique where miniature paintings are rendered in fine detail on the reverse side of domed rock crystal cabochons. The central scene depicts a red-coated English huntsman on horseback leaping over a hedge, flanked by two companion medallions portraying a fox and a hound. These traditional hunting motifs speak to the British sporting elite’s fascination with the countryside chase — fox hunting was considered a symbol of both aristocratic leisure and rural valor. The inclusion of hunting horns and riding crops in gold adds further narrative depth, evoking the ceremonial and rhythmic elements of the hunt. Gold scrolls in the form of fox horns...
