About the Item

Fine ring of design that was very popular in Europe in the late 19 - early 20 century period.Combination of Gold, Silver, and Diamonds of old European Diamond cut. Custom hand - made German or Austrian, ca. 1900s. No hallmarks. Very accurate work. Gold and Silver composite Crown 15 mm x 15 mm at axes x 3.5 mm deep is an openwork 12-point Star set with thirteen old diamond cut Diamonds on solid 14K Rose (tested) band. The crown is a bit convex - shaped for the best fit on the finger. All Diamonds are of old European diamond cut - all demonstrate eight-sided tables. Largest Ø 4.25 mm x 2 mm deep / 0.36 ct with a tiny chip on the girdle and natural on the table. Four in the corners Ø 2mm / 0.04 ct each, and eight minors Ø 1.5mm/ 0.02 ct each. Total stones weight: ca. 0.65 ctw. Color ca. H-J/ VS - P. Very shiny and sparking stones, all have open backs. Finest Used condition. No deformations. Some natural patina on metal that I decided not to touch. Size: Ø 3.25 US / 14.25 mm. Can be sized. Weight: 1.59 grams. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
