About the Item
A 5.80ct aquamarine is nestled into a halo of intricately hand-engraved 18kt gold. The aquamarine is striking; the soft and gorgeous green-blue of this aqua brings to mind the cool waters for which it is named. The checkerboard faceting adds an extra helping of gorgeous scintillation to a lively and well-cut gemstone.
"Bianca" combines a dramatic shape with the most delicate Florentine engraving. The cushiony frame reflects light with a beautiful sheen, which highlights all of the finely executed details.

This deeply saturated 5.80ct tanzanite showcases both rich blue and purple, with bits of red which "pop" at certain angles. The perfectly cut gem flashes and dazzles in its luxuriously elaborate mounting.
"Giulia" features an intricate and lacy design finished in exquisitely engraved details. A third of a carat of diamonds surrounds the exquisite center tanzanite. This ring was handmade and Florentine engraved in Florence, Italy.

ABOUT THE GEMSTONE
Tanzanite was discovered in the Merelani Hills (at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania) in 1967, and this remains the only place in the world this unique gemstone is found. Tanzanite is a variety of the mineral zoisite, and there is lively debate in the gemstone community whether the word tanzanite should be used to describe all gem quality zoisite from Tanzania, or exclusively in reference to blue-violet zoisite.
