Antique Victorian Diamond and Pearl shamrock ring, 18k gold
About the Item
This gorgeous antique Victorian era Diamond and Pearl shamrock ring really stands out from the crowd.
Crafted in rich 18ct rose gold it has a nice chunky d profile band terminating at the face with a shamrock design.
The shamrock leaves are set with three small pearls and the stem is set with lovely old cut diamonds.
The three leaved shamrock traditionally represented the holy trinity and the teachings of St Patrick whereas the four leaved one is associated with good luck.

Victorian era, Unmarked tests as 18ct gold, c1890s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, surface wear, commensurate with age, pearls have a dark hue with blue tones and some nacre damage
Ring face Approx 12mm length, band approx 3mm
Diamond weight approx 0.30ct total, estimated in setting.
