A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 1990's 4.16 carat yellow Ceylon sapphire and platinum ring; part of our collection of vintage sapphire rings.
This stunning, fine and impressive vintage yellow sapphire ring has been crafted in platinum.
The substantial setting displays an impressive feature claw set 4.16ct modern brilliant octagonal cut yellow sapphire.
The broad setting is further embellished with impressive chased scrolling leaf decoration, emanating from the claws and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
This Ceylon yellow sapphire ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark (GL), the international convention platinum guarantee mark (950 and scales), the platinum fineness mark ( 950 ) and the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor).
This impressive vintage ring is supplied with a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
Such rings of this style and combination are unusual and rare the market; this versatile unisex ring could be worn as a signet ring or a substantial cocktail ring.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the sapphire originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating.

Condition
This vintage 1990's ring is excellent quality, set with a stunning yellow sapphire displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence.
The ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with very clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank.
