1920s 1.20 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Yellow Gold Platinum Set Cocktail Ring
About the Item
A fine and impressive 1.20 carat natural blue sapphire and 0.68 carat diamond, 18k yellow gold and platinum set dress ring in the Art Deco style; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique 1920s sapphire ring has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The ring displays a feature step cut 1.20Ct natural blue sapphire bezel set to the center of the platinum setting.
The pierced decorated, millegrain decorated, Art Deco style mount is accented with a further eighteen pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
The elevated, tapering pierced decorated ring shoulders are accented with a platinum textured design panel.
The ring shoulders integrate with the plain hallmarked 18k yellow gold ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior shank with the marks for platinum and 18k gold (plat 18k)
This sapphire cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This antique 1920s sapphire ring is fine quality, set with an impressive natural blue sapphire. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition. The hallmark to the interior of the shank, is worn in keeping with age, but remains legible.
