White Gold Cocktail Ring with Twelve Carats Green Sapphires and Tourmalines
About the Item
This 18 karat white gold contemporary Floral cocktail ring is an art object due to its unusual form. It is encrusted with 12 carats of rose and green sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines, and spinel.
The work is precise, and the piece sparkles as the perfect highlight. This ring model was chosen as part of the stage outfit worn by the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle when receiving the Bavarian Film Award and on the Berlinale red carpet in the same year. It belongs to the limited edition collection.
The gems are natural and untreated, including a cushion-cut green natural sapphire weighing 3.61 carats (10x9.3 mm), a fancy cushion spinel weighing 2.28 carats (7.7x6.5 mm), a pear-cut green sapphire weighing 2.150 carats (10.12x6.75 mm) with a certificate, 3 oval sapphires weighing 2+ carats in total, and 3 oval water-pool copper-bearing Paraiba tourmalines.
Designed by oil painter and 3D jewellery designer Polya Medvedeva, this Tobacco Flower ring is inspired by the tobacco flowers that bloom at night and symbolizes the shamanic mystery of all things hidden.
