This contemporary cocktail ring in 18 karat yellow gold is an art object due to its unusual form and encrusted gems. It features rose and green sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines, and spinel, with a total carat weight of 12.
The accuracy of the work and the sparkling gems make this limited edition ring the perfect highlight piece. German actress Anne Ratte-Polle chose this ring as part of her stage outfit for the Bavarian Film award and for the Berlinale red carpet in the same year.
The natural, untreated gems include a cushion-cut green sapphire (3.61 carats, 10x9.3 mm), a fancy cushion spinel (2.28 carats, 7.7x6.5 mm), a pear-cut green sapphire (2.150 carats, 10.12x6.75 mm) with certificate, three oval sapphires (2+ carats in total), and three oval water-pool copper bearing Paraiba tourmalines.
Designed by oil painter and 3D jewellery designer Polya Medvedeva, this Tobacco Flower ring is inspired by the tobacco flower, which blooms through the night and symbolizes the shamanic mystery of all things hidden.
