Victorian Emerald and Diamond Five-Stone Gold Ring
About the Item
A Victorian emerald and diamond five stone gold ring, the ring set with three old-cut diamonds weighing approximately a total of 0.65 carats, and two cushion-cut emeralds weighing approximately a total of 0.25carats, all set in 18ct yellow gold carved scrolled mount, circa 1880, the head measuring 0.6x1.6cm, finger size O, gross weight 3.58 grams.
This ring is in very good condition.
A very pretty Victorian ring from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This five stone ring features a scintillating central diamond in the centre, flanked by two bright emeralds and two further diamonds. This ring was made in the late nineteenth century, and the ornate yellow gold scroll mount reflects the taste of the period well. This antique piece would make a perfect and unique engagement ring.
