Band hallmarked with early 20th century Austrian Imperial standard hallmarks, enclosed head of a dog with digit 14 and maker's initials P:V Coin : Austrian, 10 Gold Cronæ ,minted in 1912 , Restrike , Franz Joseph I ,Solid Gold Coin. Measures Ø 19 mm , coin weights 3.38 grams. Observe side : Imperial eagle with arms of Habsburg-Lorraine, value and date in latin above, value and date in numbers below. Reserve : Bare headed aged portrait facing right. Signature below bust. Lettering: FRANC.JOS.I.D.G.IMP.AVSTR.REX BOH.GAL.ILL.ETC.ET AP.REX HVNG. ST.SCHWARTZ This coin is made of 23 3/4 karat Gold, which is 98% pure Gold. These coins are amongst the highest purity gold coins ever made for circulation.
