About the Item

Great Signet Ring with Coats of Arms of Christ Intaglio set in solid 23K Gold. Agnus Dei with the vexillum on the shield and 3 dots / trinity symbol bellow. Knight's Armor and Helmet with plumage. On top - Ararat Dove holding a branch with leaves. Likely the Knight is meant to be a Crusader here. Engraved letters BAM ( Bible Answers Men ) on top. All details hand - cut on the stone with great skill and precision. Dove is 3.18 mm long from top of the branch. Lamb is 3.75 mm long. Whole carving : 11 mm long x 9 mm wide. Excellent carving work - it makes fine impression on soft Plasticine , seal wax or anything soft enough. This Stone may well be older than band and bezel. Oval cut natural Carnelian of dark Orange (like Amber) color 15 mm x 12 mm x 5 mm deep / ca. 10 ct. / ideal medium for the art of intaglio and relief carving. Swedish hallmarks : maker's Vallin, 23K. Gøteborg ; date combination : T7 - made in 1911. Engraved with name that was intentionally scratched off quite a bit / difficult to read. Dated 19 22/12 04 Size : Ø 10.25 US / 20.02 mm. Band is 12.27 mm wide . It can be sized. Weight : 8.5 grams. In fine used condition. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" ! Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing: Resizing of rings can be done on request. The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. Note: We will not be responsible for any physical/color changes that may occur as a result of heating of the stones during the process of resizing. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed.
