About the Item
Edwardian five carat old cut diamond solitaire ring. Set with a round old cut diamond, K colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 5.02 carats, in an open back claw setting, to an impressive solitaire design featuring curving claws, a decorative gallery with floral motifs and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5232499941.
