About the Item
Old cut diamond solitaire ring. Set with a round old cut diamond, I colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 2.54 carats, in an open back claw setting, to an impressive solitaire design featuring curving claws, a decorative geometric gallery, and circular open backholing, leading to raised inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6227771698.
