About the Item
Victorian Burmese jade locket ring. Set to centre with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced Burmese jade in an openback rubover setting with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats, to a heavy twisted solitaire design, featuring polished edges, a conforming gallery and round open backholing, flanked by trumpeting integrated shoulders flowing through to a solid plaited tapering shank, with gold removable locket rim to reverse. Tested 15 carat yellow gold, marked '1872', circa 1870, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79190-87.
