Edwardian Jade Ring 18 Karat Certified Untreated
About the Item
A luscious, translucent mottled emerald-green jadeite jade double cabochon is set within a highly detailed 18K white gold mounting in this Edwardian-era (circa 1905) ring.
The jade stone measures 11mm x 7mm and has excellent translucency, as you can see for yourself in the last two images which were taken in natural light. The metalwork is very finely executed; at once delicate and architectural. The ring is marked for 18K gold but bears no maker's mark, though I believe it is of American origin.
The bright green jade catches the eye from a distance. And the stone's beautiful relationship with light keeps the eye's attention.
Currently a size 6, this ring could be resized by your local jeweler. Ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating the jade to be untreated jadeite from Burma (Myanmar).
