Silver tea holders produced in the Soviet Union in the 1930s and 1940s may have been intended for export. During this period, the Soviet government actively promoted its products to international markets, including decorative and applied art objects. Silver items, including tea holders, may have been part of the export program, representing both a functional item and an example of Soviet design. Moreover, silver tea holders, especially those made in the 1930s and 1940s, are considered valuable antiques and their value may be high, especially if they were part of the export program. They can be made in a variety of styles typical of that time and represent unique examples of Soviet art. To confirm that a particular tea holders were intended for export, it is necessary to study their hallmarks, markings and history. The presence of specific hallmarks indicating export or information about the origin from export funds can significantly increase its value. In general, silver glass holders produced in the Soviet Union in the 1930s and 1940s are an interesting object for collectors and researchers, especially if they are associated with the export program.
