About the Item

Sterling silver large soup ladle by Gorham in the Fountainebleau pattern. Engraved GR to JFDP 1889 Gorham's Fountainebleau pattern is Antoine Heller's first design for Gorham in 1882. It is a multi-motif pattern that features characters from the Chateau de Fountainebleau, including finely detailed clothing and backgrounds. This piece features a gold wash bowl with beautiful bright cut design. The Gorham marks date this piece to the late 19th Century. Measures 12 1/2" long, 4 1/8" wide bowl. Weighs approx 206.1g, 132.5dwt Marked Lion, anchor, G STERLING 2 Very nice condition with some slight scratches and mild tarnish.
