Gorham Sterling Silver Fontainebleau Bright Cut Gold Wash Bowl Jelly Spoon

About the Item

Sterling silver jelly spoon by Gorham in the Fountainebleau pattern. Engraved "Marion & Irving 1860-1885" Gorham's Fountainebleau pattern is Antoine Heller's first design for Gorham in 1882. It is a multi-motif pattern that features characters from the Chateau de Fountainebleau, including finely detailed clothing and backgrounds. This piece features a gold wash bowl with beautiful bright cut design. The Gorham marks date this piece to the late 19th Century. Measures 7" long, 1 1/2" wide bowl. Weighs approx 40.7g, 26.2dwt total. Marked: STERLING Lion, anchor, G Very nice condition with some slight scratches and mild tarnish. Will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
