About the Item

Sterling silver gold wash spoon pap spoon by Gorham in the Versailles pattern with a monogram. Monogram appears to be BV on the back of the handle. Gorham's Versailles is a multi motif pattern designed by Antoine Heller in 1885. Named for the Palace of Versailles, the pattern depicts ornate scenes of Classical figures. Hallmarks date these spoons to the last quarter of the 19th Century. Measures approx 6 1/8" long, 1 1/2" wide across bowl. Weighs approx 32.2g, 20.7dwt Marked lion anchor G STERLING Very nice condition with some slight scratches and mild tarnish. Will be packaged securely and shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
