About the Item
In good vintage condition, this is an elegant George V pierced bowl stands on a pedestal base and has pierced floral decoration and beading around the top of the body and across the top of the handle. Probably originally intended as a sugar bowl, this versatile bowl is suitable for nuts or snacks, for sweets, for potpourri, for sauces on the table or simply as a decorative item in its own right. The cobalt blue glass liner is a wonderfully rich colour.
Hallmarked: 2709. Made by Hunt & Roskell Ltd in 1906.
