A set of twelve Regency silver dinner plates by Paul Storr, the twelve plates each with a gadroon border embellished with six cartouche motifs alternating with six shell and acanthus leaf decorations, engraved with the coat of arms of Darymple-Hamilton, baronets of Nova Scotia, hallmarked sterling silver, London, 1813, made by Paul Storr, each measuring 27.4cm in diameter, gross weight 273 troy-ounces. This natqieu set of silver plates is in very good condition for its age. This elegant and classic set of silver plates by Paul Storr, from the Regency era, is part of the distinguished collection of Bentley & Skinner, the distinguished London jewellers by royal appointment to His Majesty the King. The set comprises twelve gleaming plates, each adorned with a delicate gadroon border featuring cartouche motifs, realistic shells, and exquisite acanthus leaf decorations. At the centre of each plate is the engraved coat of arms of the Dalrymple-Hamilton baronets of Nova Scotia. These resplendent plates not only stand out for their historical significance but also perfectly complement a refined table setting with their timeless elegance.
