Inspired by a famous Italian sculpture, this expressive series of abstract paintings in vivid colours was created by Canadian visual artist Richard Tosczak in collaboration with an Italian artist. Gestural brushstrokes of bright yellow, green, sky blue, melon white and a touch of pink swirl about the canvas in this dynamic composition. Tosczak is perhaps best known for his beautiful figurative sculptures. His collaborator in this series, Italian artist Angela Letizia Renzi is a ‘lover of literature and linguistics.’

Richard Tosczak was born in Belgium. He studied philosophy and sculpture at the University of Alberta. "Wanderers" by Rudolf Kosow is an evocative painting that captures the kindred spirit of the traveler and the wild.
