About Series Four Seasons:
I created this Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter based on the abstract deformation of leaf sections. For the collection of Summer, I chose the glass material that enables the piece greenish, looking profound and fluctuating, or smooth and winding. It propels step by step like the leaf outline or fluctuating waves. This collection represents not only my abstract illustration of the growing power of all beings on earth, but also the expression of my thoughts on the subject of eternity, appreciating the tenacious and vigorous power of nature and human beings. When leaves fall back the root, they have themselves decayed through autumn and winter into spring and summer. In general, all beings on earth become a part of this cycle in another form. Nothing is eternal but the iteration that is vigorous and recurrent. - He Wenjue
About the artist:
He Wenjue was born in 1970 in Hunan Province, China. He received his MA in painting from Jilin Academy of Fine Arts. Member of Chinese Art Association, Member of Chinese Painting Association.The vice-President of Hunan Oil-Painting Association. Research Fellow of Beijing Academy of China Xieyi Oil Painting.He is currently the vice president of Hunan Oil Painting Society, a member of China Artists Association and a member of Chinese Oil Painting Society.

About Spring Rosy Clouds
The highly conceptual series has drawn materials from the rocks of Chinese Gardens. Garden rocks, viewed as mountains -the larger world of nature in microcosm, often supplanted actual scenery as sources of inspiration for images of landscape. Whether it’s garden design or Chinese landscape painting, one of the most important considerations is the harmonious arrangement of elements expressing different aspects of yin( metaphor of feminity) and yang(metaphor of masculinity).
In this series, the artist uses digital techniques to combine the image of flower (feminity) and rocks (masculinity), expressing the vitality of life. Behind the simple lines lie an outstanding creating ability of lines that have long set the artist apart. The pink color, along with the implied meaning of Spring in the title of work suggests implicitly the repressed sexual concept in East, revealing in a moderate tone the artist’s insight about contemporary Chinese culture.

“Metamorphosis” is a unique over-glaze Chinese porcelain pot by renowned ceramist and painter, Jared FitzGerald. Blowing in the wind. The wind crosses to the mountain and loops lazily in circles in the blue sky.
“Metamorphosis” is part of a new series from Fitzgerald’s studios in Jingdezhen, China. This series uses over-glaze, a new ceramic firing technique that diverges from Fitzgerald’s previous ceramic practice, which used the traditional under-glaze technique with blue and white colors. Over-glaze allows FitzGerald to paint with a range of colors; unlike with other glaze techniques, such as under- or middle-glaze, over-glaze allows FitzGerald to paint onto an already fired ceramic panel, so there is no serious change in the color of the pigments. This is a special technique which allows the artist to mix Chinese painting techniques with western techniques derived from oil painting.

“Swan Song” is a unique over-glaze Chinese porcelain pot by renowned ceramist and painter, Jared FitzGerald. The turquoise blue colors and willfully rounded shapes gives “Swan Song” an aquatic theme, while the red designs nestled amongst the blue undergrowth gives the pot a fantastical element.
“Swan Song” is part of a new series from Fitzgerald’s studios in Jingdezhen, China. This series uses over-glaze, a new ceramic firing technique that diverges from Fitzgerald’s previous ceramic practice, which used the traditional under-glaze technique with blue and white colors.
