This skillfully executed hand carved figural bull is fully dimensional and has a rich brown color. The bull is depicted in a standing position atop a shaped wooden plinth. The muscular animal has been finished with realistic detail with particular attention given to the bull's facial features and folds of skin. The plinth itself is slightly domed at the center and bears carved elements which include a large rock and stylized plants.
The bull measures 8" tall and the base is 10.75" x 4.125". It weighs 1lb 15oz. The carved bull is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or signs of wear.

This large mixed metal figural parrot was designed by highly regarded Mexican sculptor Sergio Bustamante. The hand crafted bird is composed of brass, copper and steel and features glass eyes. The parrot has been posed as if clutching a large circular brass perch with its spiky feet while a trio of long rounded tail feathers hang down beneath. As seen in the accompanying photographs, particular attention has been given to depicting the bird's detailed plumage and sharp beak.
The parrot has an aperture at the base which corresponds with a thick cylindrical wire, enabling the figure to be securely mounted on its 12" diameter perch. There is a fixed loop at the top of the perch so the piece can be suspended from a stand or a ceiling.
An eye-catching find well suited for MCM decor...

This large figural elephant was designed by sculptor Jean-Francois Leroy for Daum France. The piece is composed of amber pâte de verre glass and depicts an African elephant standing on three legs with trunk raised and mouth open as if in mid-trumpet. The elephant has been finished with realistic detail including deeply wrinkled skin, large ears with folds and long curved tusks.
The piece is signed Daum France at the back of one rear foot while the other rear foot is marked with the name of the sculptor "Leroy". The underside of the front right foot is marked with the number 2002.
An impressive object ideal for Daum collectors or as an addition to a collection of fine art glass animals.
